Location: Stage K1
Speaker: Luc Juggery
Abstract: Forget serverless platforms and complex orchestrators. In this talk, we’ll show how NATS is evolving beyond messaging and data storage to run distributed applications through Nex, enabling you to deploy real, executable workloads across your existing infrastructure, fully under your control. You’ll learn how to run both lightweight functions and long-running services globally, and trigger them over NATS, without relying on Kubernetes, FaaS platforms, or cloud vendor lock-in. Through practical and fun examples, you’ll discover how NATS is becoming a simple, fast, and flexible distributed compute platform for the edge, data centers, and sovereign infrastructure.
