Seven Principles Solutions & Consulting GmbH uses Exoscale from A1 Digital as a platform for their EMM solution, which is offered as a hosted service.

Why 7Principles chose Exoscale

1

Purely European provider

Seven Principles saw Exoscale as an opportunity to migrate its own EMM solution from the previously used cloud provider to a purely European provider.

2

Complete Swiss cloud pocket knife

Exoscale provides all the building blocks companies need to build their native cloud application: Computers, object storage, DNS management, containers, and more.

3

GDPR-compliant

With six data centers in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Bulgaria Exoscale offers a fully GDPR-compliant infrastructure.

7principles case study portrait alfred bukowski

“The cooperation with A1 Digital takes place on an equal footing, which was not always the case with our previous provider. That's why we decided to successively migrate our different clouds for our customers as well as a cloud for our own needs to the Exoscale platform."

About Seven Principles Solutions & Consulting GmbH

Seven Principles Solutions & Consulting GmbH (7P SolCon), based in Germany, offers innovative IT services around the digitalization of business models. The range of services covers the entire value chain from process and architecture consulting to managed services. With 7P-EMM, 7P SolCon is also developing a European, flexible and scalable enterprise mobility management system as a cloud service that enables companies to build a tailor-made solution for the efficient management of their mobile devices. For the security of the EMM solution, 7P SolCon integrated "IKARUS mobile.security", an anti-virus software of its technology partner IKARUS Security Software GmbH, which also acts as a sales partner.

The challenge

In search of a way to migrate the EMM cloud of the sales partner IKARUS to an internet platform operated by Seven Principles Solutions & Consulting GmbH, the company came across the cloud hosting platform Exoscale.

Exoscale is part of the Telekom Austria Group and a cloud service provider based in Switzerland. Whether companies want to host a simple web application or a complex distributed facility with microservices, Exoscale's focus on simplicity, scalability and security makes it the right platform for company workloads. Users have access to a complete Swiss cloud pocket knife: Exoscale provides all the building blocks companies need to build their native cloud application: Computers, object storage, DNS management, containers, and more. With six data centers in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Bulgaria, users can choose the best location for their data and provide their customers with a GDPR-compliant infrastructure.

The solution

Above all, Seven Principles Solutions & Consulting GmbH saw Exoscale as an opportunity to migrate its own EMM solution offered as a hosted service from the previously used cloud provider to a purely European provider. In addition to consolidating the services distributed among various cloud providers, 7P SolCon also uses Exoscale itself as a development platform, as it wants to offer its customers a suitable cloud platform in all regions – in a first step in Scandinavia. In addition to the use of Exoscale for in-house operation, 7P Solutions & Consulting GmbH sells Exoscale's infrastructure services to its customers as part of the A1 Digital Partner Programme.
