The Customer:

When Balduin Norman bought his first taxi in Vienna in the 1960s, he quickly realized the shortcomings of the taxi operator at the time. Since his progressive ideas for improving the then only radio station went unheard, he quickly founded his own taxi operation center in 1969. Today, Taxi 31300, as the company has been called since 1989, arranges taxi and errand trips and is responsible for billing and organizing cashless payment via credit cards of the affiliated taxi operators. Advanced technologies have always been used to make work more efficient and enjoyable.

The Challenge:

With the introduction of a special smartphone app, the company now wants to implement its own communication unit to enable its customers to improve their service and to make it easier for drivers to communicate with the head office. The new app will not only put drivers in direct contact with the radio control center, but also enable them to operate the receipt printer for creating bills. In addition, the app also includes a navigation function.

The Solution:

In the end, A1 Digital was able to prevail against the partly very price-aggressive offers of the competitors and convince Taxi 31300 of its mature and proven managed connectivity solution.
